CALL FOR SESSIONS

Submission deadline: January 15, 2026

We are excited to invite the Geoscience Community to submit session proposals for the GeoMinBochum 2026 Conference "Celebrating Planet Earth" to be held from September 20 to 24, 2026, in Bochum, Germany. We encourage you to share this Call for Sessions with your professional networks.

We welcome proposals for both fundamental and applied research topics in the geosciences. Applied topics might include, but are not limited to, geothermal geology, carbon sequestration and storage, lithium recovery from mine waters, and related themes.

Please Note:

• Each session must have at least two conveners.
• We encourage including one early-career professional as a convener for each session.

When submitting a proposal, please provide the following:

• A title for your session.
• A list of at least two conveners, including their contact information.
• A brief description of the aims of your session, limited to a maximum of 250 words.
